PKMNation :: The Rare Hound appears...

"Roooooosseee...?" Rudy called out, a whine in her voice as the only reply she got was the echo of the cave. Somehow, someway, the duo had been split up as they were exploring the cave. It was so dark, he knew they should've stuck closer together! The human turned Pokemon whined, sounding like a puppy given her species change. She looked up, and there was Void, staring down at her with a sorrowful expression.

The hound cross looked behind her, they were all looking very down. Levi, Istella, Neo, Queen, and Bonnie they ended up loosing as well. She could only hope they were with Rose. The Pokemon with them were Bea and Apollo, and Chance and Ken, who had joined them not too long after they entered the cave.

They walked. And walked. And walked for what felt like forever. How deep had they gone into the cave? How far were they willing to go. Everyone looked exhausted, like they had given up hope. That was until Void sniffed the ground and let out a surprised 'huh.'

"I... I smell them," she stared, wide eyed down the cave. It almost looked like there was an orange glow. The group looked at each other... before rushing forward. They all skid to a stop when the bright glow came into view. Shielding their eyes from it as they adjusted. They all looked in awe at the sight before them. There were pools of lava, and it dripped down the sides of the wall. How far deep were they?!

Void let out a loud growl when she turned, and saw what she saw. Another hound. Large, imposing... with 3 distinct heads. His legs matched his surroundings and it seemed like like he was circling his... 'catch.' As well as there was a group of Magenmite created a 'wall' in between anyone else and the young Pokemon.

Void's youngest, Shotgun and Hades. Chance and Ken's Vella. And Bo, who was the daughter of Bea and Apollo. They didn't look... right. Like they were under some sort of... spell. Perhaps something the Magnemite were doing. Void couldn't tell what was happening, but she was not going to let this terrifying 'mon do anything to the children. She began to step forward, but something was holding her down. She looked... and it was Rudy. Holding onto her leg. "Void..." she mumbled, looking terrified.

The cross sighed. "I'll take care of this," she gave her trainer and affectionate nuzzle before spreading her wings and flying towards the imposing Houndoom. She looked back, hoping the mated pairs would keep her trainer safe. Unaware of the affect the Cerberus Houndoom would have on them.

Rudy back up, decided to hide behind the safety of a rock. Why a Houndour and not a Houndoom! She would feel a lot safer if she was bigger, that's for sure. She looked up at her Pokemon. ...until she realized something was wrong. "Bea watch out," she called out to her friends Pokemon.

"What?" the feline growled, before realized the Manectric beside her was staring at her. Growling... and electricity jumping off his fur. His eyes didn't look right. Like he was under the same spell as the young Pokemon. He let off an Thunderbolt in his mates direction. She barely jumped out of the way time. She was... shocked for a lack of a better term. "A-Apollo...?" she stepped back, slowly. All the while he got closer and closer to her. Eyes wild and his growls getting louder. He continued to let off Thunderbolts at her. The electricity cracked as it bounced off the ground.

"Apollo what are you doing!?" she shouted at him, fear in her voice. She turned for a moment, glaring at the Cerberus Houndoom. Was it doing this!? She reeled back in pain, holding her paw up. Her paw had been burnt from his electricity. She hobbled, trying to avoid his attacks. This wasn't him. He was sweet. He was kind, and above all else he did not fight. Could she fight back!?

Ken jumped at the sight of the canine and feline going at it. "Oh no... Chance what's happening?" he held onto the Garchomp's arm, looking up pleadingly. But just as Bea, his eyes widened when he realized... Chance was there. The Florges only had a split second to avoid the dragon's Poison Jab slamming down where he had just been. Cracking the ground at the same time. The Garchomp snorted angrily, looking up at the Florges.

Ken scrambled back up, looking at his Garchomp partner pleadingly. But he realized the Garchomp was no longer heading towards him... instead the massive dragon seemed to have gotten his sights on Rudy. Ken gasped, and rushed forward in between the two. With a mouthed sorry, he let off a Moon Blast at the dragon, who reeled back and hissed in pain. He had to protect Rudy. The Fusion Florges hoped that attack would knock Chance out of it... but he just seemed to grow angrier.

The Florges lifted up Rudy. "Wh-what're we going to do?" he asked his trainer-mon. Holding her protectively.

She looked at the sight before her. The angry Dragon staring there down. Apollo and Bea going at it. Then she looked at Void, who was facing off against the Cerberus. Their children still in a daze.. "Void!" Rudy called out. "You have to do something!" she pleaded and her voice cracked. She yelped in fear as Ken avoided yet another attack from the Garchomp.

Void looked over her shoulder, and almost couldn't believe what she was seeing. Her eyes widened when Rudy called out to her. "How... how dare you," her voice was low, and an angry growl came from it as she stepped ever closer to the other Houndoom. "Why are you even doing this!"

She didn't even get an answer. At least an answer she could understand. It was like 3 voices all speaking at the same time. But it was a garbled, demonic mess.

She gave up trying to understand and rushed in, her jaw open as a dark aura emanated from her. She shout off a Dark Pulse... which didn't seem to phase the Cerberus Houndoom. At least, not a lot. She had an extraordinarily high Base Attack, so she only hoped it did something. As the Cerberus recovered, from the move, she immediately went in for an Iron Tail. Hitting the 'mon hard, knocking him into the wall.

It seemed that for a split second his control over the other Pokemon had weakened. Apollo stopped. Chance stopped. The two stared at their partners, who were cowering in fear. Void saw this. Saw it was working. She rushed in one more time, not giving the Cerberus a chance to recover this time, immediately striking him with a Wing Attack and knocking the 'mon into the lava. She stared as the 'mon sunk into the lava... only to emerge with a splash. The fiery liquid did not bother her, but she tried to chase after him... as he disappeared into another cavern. She turned and sent a Fire Blast in the direction of the Magnemite, causing them to scatter, and watched the children all come too.

As happy as she was to see her children, and the other families reunite... she could only stay back and stare where the Cerberus Houndoom had ran off too. Wondering if he would return...
